Tight-End

2017 – Julius Thomas, Anthony Fasano, MarQuies Gray, A.J. Derby

2018 – Mike Gesicki, Durham Smythe, MarQueis Gray, A.J. Derby, Gavin Escobar

It is safe to assume that Escobar will likely be gone and Thomas was released while Fasano was not re-signed. The Dolphins tight-ends are getting a big time make-over with an exciting pass catching TE in Gesicki and a solid blocking tight-end in Smythe.

Gray and Derby should see opportunities but if Gesicki can pick up the offense quickly the opportunities will come less and less. Overall this is a big upgrade over last year.
