  1. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jake Bently QB South Carolina

If Blake Bortles doesn’t have the season the Jaguars expect him to have, they’ll be on the lookout for a new quarterback who can complement their elite defense. Bently looks the type of Quarterback the Jaguars covet with similar size, 6’4″ 224 lbs. He is athletic and has great arm strength and has a very similar play style to Bortles himself.

  1. Carolina Panthers

Clelin Ferrell DE Clemson

A third member of Clemson’s defensive line comes off of the board here to a team that needs youth on the defensive line. Ferrell is explosive off the line and has a great first step. He was set to go in the first round in this past year’s draft, but he decided to stay an extra year which should only boost his stock. This may a be a little low for the 6’5″ 265 lb 4-3 edge rusher, but if this is his floor, his ceiling could be top 10.

  1. San Francisco 49ers

Devin White LB LSU

At this moment, Reuben Foster‘s status is still unknown. The Niners did draft Fred Warner from BYU in the third round this April, but could still use an upgrade at the position. White is a tackle-machine and set to be one of the best true middle linebackers in this class. He was all over the field for LSU and the Niners could certainly use an all-over-the-field type player.

  1. Green Bay Packers (Via New Orleans Saints)

Mack Wilson  LB Alabama

Mack Wilson is another Alabama linebacker who has first-round potential. Wilson is fast and has the making of what you look for in a new fast ideal linebacker in the NFL. He also has value on special teams which is an underrated part of a player’s game. He will add to a young improving Packers defense.

  1. Atlanta Falcons

Jeffery Simmons DT Mississippi

Prior to the 2018 Draft, many Draftniks believed the Falcons would target in round 1. Instead, they selected Alabama Wide Receiver, Calvin Ridley. Defensive tackle should still be a primary need for the Falcons next offseason. Simmons is an athletic defensive tackle, especially for his 6’4″ 300 lb frame. With a solid 2018 season, Simmons could contend with Wilkins and Lawrence for the top defensive tackle in this class.

  1. Dallas Cowboys

Caleb Wilson TE UCLA

Now that Jason Witten is retired the Cowboys inevitably need a tight end. They drafted Dalton Schultz in the fourth round this past draft, but the former Stanford Cardinal doesn’t quite fill the void left by Witten. Caleb Wilson does. He was the primary safety valve for Josh Rosen for the last two years, as Rosen constantly looked for Wilson when things broke down or when he needed 10 yards. Wilson is a terrific route runner and is improving as a blocker. He will likely be the top tight end off the board next April.

  1. Los Angeles Rams

Colin Johnson WR Texas

Brandin Cooks is set to be a free agent following this year and regardless if they resign him or not, they will need a big body at the position. Johnson is exactly that. Johnson, 6’6″ 220 lbs, is an athletic freak who shows flashes that look comparable to A.J. Green and Mike Evans. If he wants to be drafted as high as they were, he needs to find more consistency next season.

  1. Minnesota Vikings

Jonah Williams  OT Alabama

Williams is a big physical force who anchored Alabama’s champion offense. At 6’5″ 295, he protected the blind side against both Clemson and Georgia in the College Football Playoff and is yet another Alabama prospect who shined brightest on the biggest stage. The Vikings drafted tackle Brian O’Neill in the second round this past April, but may likely target the position early on next year.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers

Devin Bush LB Michigan

The Steelers failed to draft a linebacker in the Draft and now have a void t fill behind Ryan Shazier who will not be playing anytime soon. Devin Bush is a little bit on the smaller size, 5’9″, but he is all over the field making plays at Michigan. He is an excellent tackler and is solid in coverage as well. He isn’t as fast as Roquan Smith, but he makes up for his lack of size with high effort and motor.

  1. Green Bay Packers

Austin Bryant DE Clemson

Bryant is the fourth member of a Clemson Defensive line that is set to tear apart college football next year then proceed to dominate the pre-draft process and end up going high in the draft. Bryant may be the least touted of the four, but he does not lack talent. He is best against the run but shows flashes when rushing the passer He uses power and technique to get the quarterback and wreak havoc in the backfield. His ideal size, 6’5″ 265 lb to go in the first round of next years draft.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles

Shaquille Quarterman LB Miami

Shaquille Quarterman is the heart and soul of a Miami defense that should be one of the best in college football. The Hurricanes could have multiple defenders end up in the first round, and if the Canes have a successful season, that will only boost their stock. Quarterman is a playmaker and would complete and incredibly talented Philadelphia Eagles defense.

  1. New England Patriots

Clayton Thorson QB Northwestern

Thorson has been a popular pick to go in the top-10 in recent mock drafts but he has yet to show up in big games against top competition. Against lesser competition, he looks like a top-5 pick. If he can show up against teams like Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State he will go very high, and may even be the first player taken. He has ideal size (6’4″ 220) and arm strength and fits the mold of a quarterback the Patriots would want to eventually replace Tom Brady.
