Ready up Dolphins fans, Metlife Takeover tickets are now available
By Brian Miller
The Miami Dolphins fans who make the annual trek to New York for Metlife Takeover can now buy their tickets and plan their trip.
MetLife Takeover is ready for 2018. Tickets are on sale and for the first time you don’t need to actually pre-register with DolfansNYC to get your tickets. You can simply click here and buy them directly off their website.
All of the tickets that are purchased off of the MetlifeTakeover web site will be in the upper deck of Metlife Stadium and I can attest that in early September it can be hot. Although not has hot as Miami but it is fun to watch the northerners who are not used to heat squirm a bit….of course I mean Jets fans.
Worried about going to a Jets game? Don’t be. The New York fans were actually very hospitable and last years event was a lot of fun with no problems of any kind. The jabs and pokes came from both sides and all of it was done in good taste. It was a safe environment and a lot of fun. So much so that I will be going back again this year!
Here is a 360 degree short video of the early part of the tailgate party.
The pirce of tickets is $70.00 but if you purchase by July 13th, you save $5.00.
As is normally the case the last few years, the “takeover” begins on Sunday morning outside Slattery’s Mid-Town Pub in Mid-Town Manhattan. You MUST reserve a seat on one of the busses that will take you to and from the game. The price is $30.00. Once you arrive on Sunday you will be given a wristband that will allow you to get on the bus.
Please be sure to confirm your bus purchase prior to arrival.

The tailgate party
Last year DolfansNYC contracted a caterer to host the event and it was well worth the money. For $85.00 your food and drink is free. This includes alcohol. Check the link above to Metlife Takeover for all of the details and FAQ’s on their home page or just click HERE.
Last year was my first Metlife Takeover event and actually my first trip to NYC. I had a great time and am looking forward to helping the DolfansNCY group again this year. It is a fantastic experience that Dolphins fans should seriously consider attending.
