This is the final injury report for the Miami Dolphins’ home opener against the Tennessee Titans.  The Dolphins had only one player with an injury status designation while Tennessee listed four.

Wide receiver DeVante Parker (finger) has been designated as doubtful on the final injury report for the Miami Dolphins’ season opener, but he was labeled a limited participant in today after a stint of not participating in practice.  Going into his fourth season of his career, Parker has yet to complete a full season without missing one or more games and it seems that will be the case again this year.

On the other hand, Parker was the only Miami Dolphin on the 53 man roster with an injury status designation.  Running back Frank Gore (achilles/not injury related), WR Jakeem Grant (shoulder), G Josh Sitton (shoulder) and G Ted Larsen (knee) were all full participants in practice today.  Quarterback Brock Osweiler (knee) was new on the list, but still fully participated in practice.

The bad news is that TE Marqueis Gray has been lost for the season, placed in the injured reserve list Thursday, due to an achilles tear during a one on one drill.  Gray was on top of the depth chart for tight ends and was expected to get a much larger role on the offense this year.  Gavin Escobar has been resigned to replace Gray.  Escobar showed a lot of promise in the preseason and will keep the tight end compliment at four on the roster.

The news wasn’t very encouraging for the Tennessee Titans.  Four players, LB Rashaan Evans (hamstring), OT Jack Conklin (knee), OLB Harold Landry (ankle) and S Kendrick Lewis (foot) have all been ruled out for Sunday’s game.  The only bright side for the Titans was the fact that LB Derrick Morgan (knee) was a full participant in practice for the second day in a row and had no injury status.

Miami is starting out the season on somewhat of a good note, with 52 of the 53 men on the roster healthy and able to play in the opener.  A much more reassuring way to begin after last year’s start.
