The Miami Dolphins face the New York Jets in the second game of the season.  The midweek injury report finds seven Dolphins and eleven Jets players listed.

The best news for the Miami Dolphins, even though WR DeVante Parker (finger) was listed as limited in practice, he was out on the field catching passes.  This is the first time he has done so since he broke his finger back on Aug. 20.  Ryan Tannehill said that once Parker is able to play, that after four years together, they would be able to pick up where they left off.  Listed as a nonparticipant was WR Danny Amendola (not injury related), but Adam Gase indicated this will be a Wednesday ritual throughout the season.

The offensive line had three players on the injury report.  Offensive tackles Laremy Tunsil and Ja’Wuan James, both with hamstring issues, were full participants.  Guard Josh Sitton (shoulder) did not practice.  Head Coach Gase stated that he took a weird hit and they’re still doing tests.

The final two listed on the injury report were LS John Denney (shoulder), who was limited in practice and DE William Hayes (finger) who was a full participant.  Denney has a streak of 210 straight games on the line, but Coach Gase thought he’d be fine to play Sunday.

The New York Jets had three players who didn’t practice, LB’s Neville Hewitt (knee) and Josh Martin (concussion) along with DB Marcus Maye (foot).  The remaining eight players listed on the report were all full participants.  They were offensive linemen Brian Winters (back), Kelvin Beachum (foot), Spencer Long (knee), wide receivers Quincy Enunwa (thumb), Jermaine Kearse (abdomen), Terrelle Pryor (ankle) and the final two players were DL Steve McLendon (knee) and LB Kevin Pierre-Louis (abdomen).

This will be updated after the teams come out with their Friday’s final report.
