The Miami Dolphins play their first divisional game in New York against the Jets. This is the final injury report for this week’s game between these two rivals.

Once again this week, there is bad news for the Miami Dolphins on the Friday injury report. Guard Josh Sitton will be out for the remainder of the season, due to a torn rotator cuff he suffered during the game against the Tennessee Titans last Sunday.

Ted Larsen will be Sitton’s replacement on the offensive line against the Jets. Adam Gase says he has complete confidence in Larsen to take over the position, who started eight games for the Dolphins last season.

"(If C/G Ted Larsen has to play this week or in the future, what should we know about your comfort level with Ted Larsen?) – “That’s why he’s here. I mean, he started for us last year. That hurt us last year when he got hurt. That was a big loss for us. We had to shuffle a lot of pieces around because we had so many reps with him. Him going in, that was the main reason that we wanted him on this team was if something ever happened to anybody and he went in the game, we were really comfortable with that because we feel like he is probably a starter at a lot of different places and we’re lucky enough to have him here. On the bright side, the positive news that came out of the report was that WR DeVante Parker (finger) was again a full participant in practice. He is officially listed as questionable. Parker says he feels good and he seems to be chomping at the bit to get back out on the field. He did reveal that he would have his fingers taped up to secure it, if he does play, but didn’t think that would hamper his ability to catch balls.

The two other players listed as questionable for Sunday’s game were LS John Denney (shoulder) and DE William Hayes (Finger).  Denney fully participated in practice today and all indications point to him being out on the field come game time.  Hayes was the only player that was listed as a nonparticipant in practice after being a full participant all week.

The remaining players on the list were offensive tackles Ja’Wuan James and Laremy Tunsil, each listed for a hamstring and the two players listed for non-injury related issues were WR Danny Amendola and RB Frank Gore.

The Jets secondary is a little banged up with S Marcus Maye (foot) listed as doubtful and didn’t practice for the third day in a row.  Safety Doug Middleton (finger) was added to the report Friday as questionable although he was a full participant in practice. The only other designation was LB Josh Martin (concussion), who didn’t practice all week and is ruled out for Sunday.

The remainder of the players on the injury report were all full participants. On offense were T Kelvin Beachum (foot), G Dakota Dozier (non injury), WR Quincy Enunya (thumb), WR Jermaine Kearse (abdomen), C Spencer Long (knee), WR Terrelle Pryor ( ankle) and G Brian Winters (back).    On the defensive side were LB Neville Hewitt (knee), DL Steve McClendon (knee) and LB Kevin Pierre-Louis (abdomen).

Ryan Tannehill may have a great day if Parker is available and he has his full artillery at his disposal, especially with an unhealthy Jets secondary.  The Dolphins just need to hopefully end this trend of losing a player for the season each week.
