Miami Dolphins have “trade bait” in Andre Branch
The Miami Dolphins could be one more injury away, to the offensive line, that make them dig into their depth at defensive end and use Andre Branch as “Trade bait”.
The Miami Dolphins aren’t in “panic mode” according to head coach Adam Gase, But he is not the General Manager, or the Vice President of the Miami Dolphins.
While publicly Gase has stated to local media, the Dolphins would not go out of house to fill the void Josh Sitton has left in the interior of the offensive line, while being placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the year, that maybe something that Chris Greer and Mike Tannenbaum disagree with.
As Tannenbaum’s job may be on the line, And maybe an issue only he can pull off.
VP Mike Tannenbaum was silenced through the draft, and for the most part the off-season, as Chris Greer made post draft comments in a jokingly manner. But Tannenbaum loves to get involved, a lawyer by trade, he loves big headlines, and this is one Chris Grier and Adam Gase may have to give him .” Dolphins trade DE Andre Branch for offensive lineman” We dont know the who or the when, but it wont be long, maybe.
Miami has been blind-sided by injuries for as long as any fan can remember, and a lot of those injuries have been to the offensive line, and now something must be done, what is left to do but a trade?
Under the circumstances the Dolphins have a very full house, with some very talented defensive ends, and one that keeps popping up for trade bait is Andre Branch.
Andre Branch played his first four years for the Jacksonville Jaguars, He played in 56 games with 12 starts. Since he joined the Dolphins in 2016 and has started 25 out of 31 games. Branch could be the odd man out since drafting DE Charles Harris in 2017. The Dolphins have Cameron Wake and newly signed Robert Quinn that start for Miami, as well as William Hayes, and that could make Branch the odd man out.
The Dolphins signed Frank Gore and already have the talented Kenyan Drake, how can Miami waste their talents now? Someone needs to step up to the plate and get a real first string offensive guard in Miami, A kind man who rules the trenches.
The Miami Dolphins have stated in the past, that they would always consider bringing in players that would upgrade their roster, is there a better time than now?
The offensive line has always been on the thin side, when talent is concerned, and now is time for the front office to step it up again, a trade could be coming for a player or a draft pick, but it needs to happen before week four of the regular season, and the Patriots line up against us.
Nothing from the front office has been reported on this idea, but the Dolphin’s need to stabilize the offensive line, and fast.
