Miami Dolphins could be 4-0 after this weekends Patriots game

Can the Miami Dolphins shrug off the slow starts and injuries, to pull off a win at Foxboro? Wrap your mind around the Miami Dolphins being 4-0.

Miami Dolphins rivals, the New England Patriots have dominated the AFC east for years, and there are good reasons why.  First you have to look at head coach Bill Belichick and the way he coaches the team. “Do your Job’ signs are posted around the facility and have been his motto since being hired by the Patriots.

Belichick has a pedigree that comes from a long list of coaches and their success in the NFL. Not only is Belichick the head coach, but he is also the general manager, his players are hand-picked as he also rules the draft for New England. And there is no shortage on players who can step up and be the next  up and coming great.

Quarterback Tom Brady gets most of the Glory, a gifted quarterback who very seldom sees defeat, and has the passion of a lion. And  he expects the players around him to do so as well, and to do their job. Year after year Brady has new receivers, as well as some that are on their way out, Randy Moss for one fared well because, Brady is, well Brady.

Newly acquired Josh Gordon could play against the Dolphins come Sunday, providing he is ready and has learned enough plays out of the Patriots play book, that suits Belichick’s motto.

In the first  3 games of the 2018 season, something is not quite right in New England, has Belichick lost his touch, or has Belichick just lost too many impact players along with a former defensive head coach, who just out coached him on Monday night?

Gase will also look to out coach him, but it needs to start from the first play called.

Either way, the Dolphins are looking to take them down. Wouldn’t be surprised if Cameron Wake gets flagged for sacking  Brady just as he has done in years past. Gase on the other hand has less to worry about, if he will just turn the stallions loose early and often on offense, Miami can win this game. I expect the running game to open up this week with 100 to 150 yards split between Frank Gore and Kenyan Drake.

This team is hungry, and if the Dolphins can play like a team, and if Adam Gase will draw the first blood on the Patriots, the Miami Dolphins can sit at 4-0 on top of the AFC East.

Hats off to defensive coach Matt Burke for finding answers in the last game, even if an offensive lineman needed to substitute for the defensive line.
