The Miami Dolphins will visit the jungle in Cincinnati this Sunday and the PhinPhatic staff gives your our final score predictions.

This week we asked the staff of PhinPhanatic to give us their predictions heading into Sunday. The Dolphins look to bounce back from an atrocious showing against the Patriots while the Bengals look to keep their red-headed passing attack hot. Here are our predictions for Sunday.

Shawn Digity

The Dolphins will look to bounce back against the Bengals. This has been a tough matchup the past couple years, but I think the Fins will come ready to play after last week’s wake-up call. They’ll get the ground attack going again and the defense will take advantage of Andy Dalton, which will net a couple turnovers. The Fins will go to 4-1 after righting the ship and getting back to form.

Sadly, after last week’s atrocious loss to the Patriots, it’s not going to get any easier for Miami. Th Bengals are 3-1, and riding high off of their exciting win in Atlanta. Cincinnati has a strong offense that will be tough to contain for a depleted Dolphins defense. The Bengals defense is not very good, but it will tough for Miami to try and win in a potential shootout.

The Dolphins injury report looks like their off-season acquisition targets….Which isn’t what they hoped for. Their two new additions to their Oline are done for the year. Cincy strength is their Dline, and the loss of those two starters will hurt the Dolphins this week and the rest of the season. Gase has been calling the right plays, but the team is not executing them. There is only so much a coach can do. Andy Dalton will look to attack, basically whomever Howard is not covering is free game. I hate to pick this, but

Just like last week these are two teams trending in opposite directions. This time it’s the Dolphins on the low end and the Bengals high. Both teams have almost the same amount of players hurt and even share some positions. The Bengals have been scoring over 30 points a game so shoring up the defense with Reshad Jones is pivotal and early reports have him playing. I want to predict a tie of 31 each but wills say…

Bengals 34 Dolphins 31

Brian Murray

The Dolphins are going to enter this game with a renewed focus and determination. I think Adam Gase is going to try more to establish a good ground game, in turn increasing possession of the clock and keeping the defense off of the field longer. Look for Kenyan Drake and Frank Gore to be much more involved. Miami gets back on the winning side this week in a hard fought battle, that goes down to the wire.

Miami 24 Cincinnati 21

Sean Moon

Dolphins try to shake off hang over from a beat down by Patriots, but injuries are to much to overcome and stopping the Bengals offense should be a problem.

Miami 17 Cincinnati 31

George Keim

Dolphins are going in to Cincinnati to play the high powered Bengals team. Cincinnati has scored 34+ points in 3 of their 4 games. The Dolphins secondary will have their hands full this week. Tyler Eiffert’s injury is big for Cincinnati and will help the Dolphins immensely. The Dolphins rebound from last week’s debacle and get a much needed road win edging out the Bengals.

Dolphins 28 Bengals 27

Travis Richardson

Miami hasn’t had a good looking win yet this season and tends to only play 1 or 2 good quarters a game. The offensive and defensive lines are significantly worse than the start of the season and this will have a direct impact on this weeks game. Look for another Gase slow start special and the Dolphins fall behind early and can’t come back.
