The Miami Dolphins offense continues to ride the merry-go-round, but the results coming in are not so merry, and neither are hopes for a winning season.

Here we go with a new list of injuries on the injury report, and cuts and signings, and promotions from the practice squad. By the time the season ends, Miami might have gone through all their jersey numbers and still need more.

Injuries happen to any NFL team, but for some strange reason, they happen to the Miami roster often. With seven players already placed on injured / reserve, C-Jake Brendel, QB- Luke Faulk, TE- Marqueis Gray, DE- William Hayes,  OLB- Mike Hull, C- Daniel Kilgore,  G- Josh Sitton, all lost for the year. But it doesn’t stop there, then there is the weekly list, from doubtful, to questionable, and mysterious which DeVante Parker camps out in.

That alone is a lot for any team to overcome especially when you do not have answers for the team you may be facing week to week. It seems like head coach Adam Gase is out of answers, as well as band-aids. But why are players dropping like flies around a can of raid? Questions must be asked on a players injury on an individual situation.

Questions like QB Luke Faulk, does he really have a hand injury, or just a timely one to clear room to promote someone from the practice squad? Or Like QB Ryan Tannehill? When did he sustain a shoulder injury, and was it really a knee injury when he limped off the field during the New England game? Could it really be his knee? Because he hasn’t run since. Or is Gase in fear for Tannehill not getting hurt in the Chicago Bears game? Khalil Mack is a threat to any QB, but one that is maybe limited to the pocket with a bum knee, and an offensive line that looks below college level could really be the answer.

So here we are again, cutting offensive tackle Sam Young the day before a game and promoting  DE Jamiyus Pittman from the practice squad. When did we start having to make room for a defensive tackle and cut an offensive lineman? The merry-go-round seems to be picking up speed, the problem is, it only spins in place and only appears to be moving forward. Sound familiar?

One thing is for sure, if the Miami Dolphins are going to get the win at home against the Chicago Bears, the defense will need to take over the game.
