Josh Sitton – LG – Out for the season: Torn Labrum

The hits to the Miami Dolphins offensive line were massive early in the season. Josh Sitton made it through one and one half games before his season came to a crashing halt.

The Dolphins viewed Sitton as their big prized free agent that was going to shore up the offensive line and give the quarterback time and the running back lanes. Sitton looked very good in his two starts but Miami didn’t have a quality back-up plan in place.

Losing Sitton hurt more than just the continuity of the line. Laremy Tunsil who has been fantastic in 2018 could have been even better with Sitton to the inside. Instead the Dolphins have had to platoon guards and now are using Ted Larsen at the position. It hasn’t gone well.

Sitton along with the losses of Kilgore for the season and Tunsil and James throughout the year as well have had a major impact on the Dolphins roster that Miami cannot seem to recover from.
