Ryan Tannehill – QB – return unknown: Shoulder injury

When Ryan Tannehill took a big hit and got up against the Raiders in week three he rotated his arm around and the fan base took a collective gasp. When he remained in the game, they made a collective sigh.

Two weeks later the Dolphins and Tannehill opened up a huge lead against the hosting Bengals and the Dolphins appeared in position to get back on track after looking really bad the week before in New England. Late in the 2nd half Tannehill took another hit and while he remained in the game something wasn’t right.

The Dolphins blew a 17 point lead and Tannehill could not throw the ball with any power. Miami lost Laremy Tunsil and Ja’Wuan James around the same time as the hit. Tannehill has not played since week five.

In his absence Brock Osweiler has looked good for one game and horrendous the rest he has started. The Dolphins are hoping to get Tannehill back soon, perhaps as early as the Colts game a week after the off weekend. That is being a little optimistic and Tannehill may just as easily miss the rest of the season.
