Albert Wilson – WR – Out for the season: Hip

The Miami Dolphins may have been able to survive the Ryan Tannehill injury had they been able to maintain the speed and efficiency on offense but that was not to be the case.

Wilson was having a career season with the Dolphins and had become an integral part of the Dolphins offense. A week after Tannehill went down, Wilson enjoyed success against the Bears in Brock Osweiler’s first start. A week later after the Lions, Wilson would land on the IR.

Wilson’s injury was simply a freak incident as he tried to keep his feet after being tripped up. His injury has taken a formidable weapon off the Dolphins offense and that is allowing opposing teams to cover easier.

Wilson’s injury is the highlight of the wide-receiver group. The Dolphins have watched DeVante Parker come in and come out come in and now is back out, Jakeem Grant is a question mark with a foot injury, and even Kenny Stills who was also injured in the Lions game missed a couple of games.

This years Dolphins team could field a full starting roster on offense with players on IR but both sides have been hit hard.

Overall Chase Allen, a special teams contributor is out for the season, as are Luke Falk, Vincent Taylor, and Cordrea Tankersley. The Dolphins have also lost Bobby McCain for part of the year and he is currently in the concussion protocol.
