Several players were not listed in this group of ten and that does not mean they are not viable cornerstone options for the team in the future.

Bobby McCain – CB – 25

McCain takes a lot of hits on defense but he has a lot of talent and can shore up the slot corner spot when the Dolphins are not moving Fitzpatrick around or asking him to play outsider corner. McCain is still growing as well.

Mike Gesicki – TE – 23

It’s too early to know what Gesicki is going to bring to the Dolphins in the future. His 2018 season has been what a lot of rookie tight-ends endure. A lot of promise with a little bit of production. To be clear, most if not all tight-ends go through these types of rookie seasons. For Gesicki, it’s more often about who the Dolphins didn’t take instead when it comes to fans conversations.

Charles Harris – DE – 23

Harris has shown very little in his young career and has spent time this season on the sidelines injured. Much like DeVante Parker we continue to hear that Harris is ready to take that next step but he hasn’t. His injury now to his leg is keeping him from valuable reps on the fied in games and that will hurt development.

Kenny Stills – WR – 26

Stills has caught 19 passes in 2018 and obviously that is disappointing. Most of that reason is the quarterback issues that Miami has. Stills is going to be a part of the Dolphins for the near future but without solid quarterback play the outside speed receiver isn’t going to be able to produce the numbers that he should be.
