Albert Wilson – WR – 26 years old

The Miami Dolphins paid a lot of money to Wilson this off-season and when he was healthy they were getting the return they invested in. Wilson has the speed and the hands to be a prolific wide-receiver in the NFL and for the Dolphins.

Wilson was impressive until the hip-injury put him out for the year but his injury is not considered one that will keep him out of the 2019 season. The Dolphins offense is built for speed and Wilson brings that and then some.

There are a lot of questions regarding DeVante Parker‘s future with the Dolphins and if he is not retained this off-season, he shouldn’t be, Wilson will have a bigger role in 2019 when he returns.

Wilson is the kind of player that can make a quarterback very happy because he can run the seam routes, the drags, the reverses, and the fly patterns. He has very few, if any, limits to where he plays.

Entering 2018 Adam Gase said that Wilson was not simply a slot receiver and he proved that he can line up at all the offensive positions. That should continue for the next few years under his current contract. If the Dolphins do move on to another quarterback in the next two seasons, that QB will benefit from Wilson being on the roster.
