The Miami Dolphins are still in the playoff chase and the “Miami Miracle” is still the talk of the town after the team pulled off a big win Sunday.

Seven seconds on the clock down by five 33-28 no time-outs. Ryan Tannehill throws the ball across the middle to Kenny Stills, Stills pitches the ball to Devante Parker, Parker pitches the ball to Kenyan Drake. Drake runs the ball down the sideline gets tripped up, keeps going Ted Larsen throws a block it’s a footrace between Rob Gronkowski and Drake. Drake runs for the end zone and scores Miami wins the game in dramatic fashion.

The 69 yard touchdown with seven seconds left was the longest touchdown with no time left since the 1970 merger. When talked to at the end of the game Drake said that he only made that play in his dreams. The Miami Miracle saved the Dolphin’s season.

To be honest that play is impossible even in your dreams. That’s back to back games now the Dolphins have been fortunate and pretty lucky with the final play of the game. Last week was the wide open Charles Clay who dropped the ball this week a miracle play for the Dolphins and Drake.

The Dolphins now head to Minnesota to take on the 6-6-1 Vikings. This is a must win for both teams as both are trying to keep hopes alive for a playoff run. This is definitely the hardest game left on Miami’s schedule if the Dolphins can win this game, they should be able to run the table and hope that Indianapolis and Baltimore lose.

It’s never good to have to get help in order to make the post season, but the Dolphins definitely need it. What they will do in the playoffs is probably not a whole lot. They may get lucky in the first round. All in all Adam Gase deserves a lot of credit for keeping this team alive against all odds and should be considered as coach of the year.

The Miami Miracle has kept the Dolphins season alive in a four way race between the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, and Tennessee Titans. Who wants it more? We’ll just have to wait and see.
