Staff optimistic for the Miami Dolphins in week 15 Vikings predictions
The Miami Dolphins will visit the Vikings this Sunday and the PhinPhatic staff gives your our final score predictions.
This week we asked the staff of PhinPhanatic to give us their Miami Dolphins predictions heading into Sunday. The Dolphins look to take another massive step towards the playoffs and prevent the Vikings from doing so.

The Dolphins will ride their miracle momentum into Minnesota and escape the north with a decisive win after both the offense and defense click. This could become a tough one for the Dolphins since the Vikings are very talented and are entering into desperation mode at 6-6-1, but the Fins will take advantage of a weaker Vikings o-line and get to Kirk Cousins. I’m optimistic that the Dolphins will rise to the occasion on their road trip to U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Dolphins keep the victories coming with a great defensive game to come against the Vikings. It will be tough for the Dolphins to score points on a pretty good defense for the Vikings it will be fun to see what turns out of this game.

Dolphins have four more players on IR than the Vikings with two less questionable and two more probable along with Xavien Howard doubtful. That last part hurts going against the high ranking WR duo the Vikings have but the defense has held the run well lately. Check out this stat: Dolphins had 21 points at halftime last game and Kirk Cousins had 27 passing yards. Coach Gase has momentum enough to break out of the road slump and bring this beat up team the win.

Miami is riding high from their incredible win, but it’s back to business with a tough road match-up at Minnesota. The Vikings had their own miracle last season in the playoffs, but they let their emotions get the best of them the following week. I anticipate that Gase will point that out to his team, letting them know that last week means next to nothing if they don’t look to what’s in front of them. This will be an uphill battle, but one I think Miami can use their momentum to squeak by with a win.

The Dolphins ride in on an epic high and the offense is clicking, the Vikings are searching for an identity. The Phins are the underdog which makes them play better and I think the phins steal one on the road….

After one of the most exciting finishes in Dolphins history, the Dolphins will try to keep their playoff hopes alive in Minnesota. With Kirk Cousins struggling and Miami hitting their stride, the Dolphins will do something they’re not known for: win a road game.

The Vikings have a much better defense than the one Miami saw last week. However, the Vikings also have a very interesting dilemma with their offensive coordinator taking on his first game. I imagine both teams will struggle to put points on the board. The Vikings have more healthy play makers on offense and a better defense than Miami. They are also playing at home. Miami will keep it close, but will drop a very important game in Minny.

There is a lot of hype surrounding this game and a lot of optimism but there are holes on this defense that are going to be problematic. The Vikings have a much better wide-receiver group than the Patriots and a better offensive line. On offense, the Dolphins are going to have their hands full with line pressure and Ryan Tannehill is going to be knocked around quite a bit.
While the Dolphins are riding high and should win this game, I don’t think they have the pieces in place to pull it out.
