When the Miami Dolphins finish their season changes will be made but those changes may not be what you think or may even hope for.

The Miami Dolphins played one of their worst games of the year on Sunday losing to the 4-11 Jacksonville Jaguars, at home, with playoff possibilities still alive. It was as if they didn’t bother to show up at all. From his press box sat owner Stephen Ross, slumped in his seat hand on his forehead, depressed without answers. Or solutions.

Welcome to the Dolphins off-season. It may not begin until next week but it has begun in the mind of Stephen Ross. There is plenty of speculation about what is going to happen when the season settles into the off-season and the players leave the training facility for the rest of the winter and into spring.

Yesterday we posted an article saying that Stephen Ross should blow the whole thing up and maybe he should. Adam Gase has problems that extend further than simple injuries. Here is the thing, the reality of all of this from Gase up to Mike Tannenbaum.

If injuries are the excuse then what is the excuse for the talent evaluation for this teams depth? Depth that is so bad they can’t play at an NFL level? So bad they can’t be relied upon to start when needed? Depth is a huge problem on this team and that comes from identifying talent and that means that whomever is in charge of identifying that talent and then keeping that talent on the team needs to be accountable. That very well could be Tannenbaum, Grier, and Gase.

The changes that are coming may not be what many want or expect so let us run down some of the options that Stephen Ross could make and how likely they are to happen.
