Adam Gase says this team “will never be the same” after this weekend

The Miami Dolphins will play their final game of 2018 and changes are expected to be made early in the off-season and Adam Gase says nothing will be the same.
Adam Gase met with members of the media today and told them “it’ll never be the same”.
While a tad bit melodramatic Gase is right that this team will play together for the last time against the Bills. He is also correct that it will never be the same. But it shouldn’t be the same. Not even a little bit. In fact, a lot of changes on the team need to be made and it really doesn’t matter what Gase thinks, not if he wants to keep his job.
This team that he refers to is not very good and while Gase wants to point towards injuries I would contend that if you are going to use injuries as an excuse then you should have phoned in the season a long time ago and got a higher draft pick. If you can’t win with the depth you assembled, then don’t finger the reason why you have to play them.
It is still unclear if Gase will be back but all indications are that he will. The same can not be said for Mike Tannenbaum and Ryan Tannehill. Both have been rumored to on the way out of Miami. Gase is right though, there should be significant turnover this year.
All three defensive ends could be gone. Cameron Wake, Robert Quinn, and Andre Branch. Wake is a free agent and Branch and Quinn are owed big dollars with very little hurt should they be released.
Offensively the Dolphins may part with Tannehill, they may lose Ja’Wuan James, may trade Kenyan Drake (a recent unconfirmed rumor), DeVante Parker should be gone, Ted Larsen, Daniel Kilgore all could join him.
This off-season is going to be a very interesting one because Stephen Ross is tired of losing so yeah, things will not be the same and again, they really shouldn’t be because if they remain the same, the same results are also likely to remain.
