The guys over at The Fish Tank have reeled in another heavey weight guest and this one may have more knowledge than anyone who came before.

When it comes to Miami Dolphins podcasts no one can beat The Fish Tank. O.k. DolphinsTalk.com comes really close but they can’t push the buttons that O.J. McDuffie and Seth Levit can. This time around long time PR guy Harvey Greene joins them.

Since 1989 Harvey Greene, who traded the cold winters and warm summers with the New York Yankees for the tropical heat of South Florida, sat in charge of the Miami Dolphins PR department. Few in those years that spanned Don Shula to Joe Philbin were privy to what Greene knew. He spun the public relations gig and controlled who got to talk to whom.

I spoke with him one time in my 11 years on this site. It was a rather brief conversation that ended with a “sorry players are not allowed to speak during the season without team authorization.” So that was it. He was professional. He was to the point.

Now Greene can spill some of that knowledge and joins the duo over at TheFishTank in their latest podcast that has included past heavy hitters, Zach Thomas, Channing Crowder, and many others. It’s not X’s and O’s it’s about the Miami Dolphins and how the years built up stories that without McDuffie and Levit would never be told.

We all know McDuffie but Seth Levit who is the CEO of the Jason Taylor Foundation knows the stories well. During his time working with the Dolphins he built relationships with the players over the years of traveling. Now they bring those tales to us all.
