Minkah Fitzpatrick

In 2018 Fitzpatrick had a pretty good start to his NFL career with the Dolphins. No one seemed disappointed in his play but it could have been a lot better. That too is on the coaches.

Under Matt Burke the team simply didn’t know where best to let Fitzpatrick play. They moved him from slot corner to safety to edge corner to linebacker and then recycled it all. This new staff doesn’t appear to be a group that can’t use a player’s strength.

With the new staff Fitzpatrick should find himself starting at one position rather than being stretched all over the field in the hopes of finding what he is good at or masking what the team as a whole lacks. Fitzpatrick is dynamic but playing too many positions makes you a master of none and Fitzpatrick has the talent to be magical at one.
