With the NFL season now over and the Miami Dolphins now looking towards the draft for the “re-build” which college prospects might be on the horizon for the Dolphins?

The offseason has officially begun, and that leaves for the Miami Dolphins to start their rebuilding process under new head coach Brian Flores. Where do the Fins start?

The draft is set in Nashville, Tennessee and will start on April 15th where the every team will get their chance to select their first round pick.

General Manager Chris Grier has a lot of decisions to make on the player the Dolphins could center their franchise around. At pick 13, there’s a lot of options on the table at every position. What do we need? Well, everything.

Here are the five prospects that could be available at pick 13 for the Miami Dolphins:

Kyler Murray (QB, Oklahoma)

I couldn’t help myself to leave him off the list, because Kyler Murray really has a shot of falling down the draft boards. While he did declare for the NFL draft, it’s still up in the air if his heart is with football or baseball, a decision he said he’ll make sooner rather than later.

Since we’re moving on from Ryan Tannehill, the fins are looking to find the next face of the franchise at quarterback, and the successor of Baker Mayfield could definitely be the guy. Besides putting up a Heisman winning season where he threw for 4,361 yards to go along with 42 touchdowns and seven interceptions, he has the traits of a great young talent.

Not only does he have the makings of a prolific passer with his accuracy down the field, he has the athleticism to scramble out of the pocket and run out of situations with his speed. What’s the concern? His dimensions to some are worrisome. According to soonersports.com, Murray is listed as 5’10” and weighs 195 pounds, this will be confirmed once they measure him at the Combine.

While the report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, said that the Fins were targeting QBs in the 2020 draft, such as Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert. This could potentially be a decoy or an assumption that Murray won’t fall to 13.

It could be a potential risk for the Dolphins, Kyler Murray is electrifying and if he’s there for the taking at our pick, I could see Grier pulling the trigger.
