Cody Ford (OL, Oklahoma)

Another Sooner that the Dolphins can get at 13 is Offensive Lineman Cody Ford. One of the key needs to rebuilding a team is to fix the trenches on both sides of the ball. While we’re looking to keep the great left tackle in Laremy Tunsil, everybody else’s future on the line is uncertain, including right tackle Ja’Wuan James. Needing to fill in the guard spots, Ford can plug-in and start learning quickly.

His size of about 6’4” and 338 pounds is very impressive for a lineman. According to the Draft Network, he has “unbelievable balance and agility in his sets for a man his size.” The one thing about him that could be concerning, is that he broke his left tibia in 2016, however he has played since, and on elite level at Oklahoma.

The Draft Network also states that he does need some polishing, specifically with his own footwork, but if he’s drafted by the Dolphins, he’ll have time to work on that.
