Pick #26 Indianapolis Colts

DT Christian Wilkins, Clemson

At 6’4″ 300 lbs, Wilkins is a major disruptive force in the middle of the defense.

Pick #27 Homeless Raiders

TE T.J. Hockenson, Iowa

Hockenson (6’5″ 250 lbs) is the most complete tight end in the draft and if the Raiders are going to rebuild around QB Derek Carr having a complete TE is a good piece to have.

Pick #28 Los Angeles Chargers

OT Andre Dillard, Washington State

The Chargers are thin on the offensive line and may be looking to move on from the aging Russell Okung in the next 18 months.  Dillard is a better at blocking for the pass than the run but keeping QB Philip Rivers is the biggest priority in LA anyways.

Pick #29 Kansas City Chiefs

CB Trayvon Mullen, Clemson

It’s a toss-up between Mullen and fellow CB Julian Love to see who can best fix the ‘awful’ (31st ranked) pass defense in KC.  The nod goes to the 6’2″ Mullen because he matches up better against the teams the Chiefs will face in crunch time.

Pick #30 Green Bay Packers

WR A.J. Brown, Ole Miss

Once again it’s a ‘toss-up’ but this time it’s at wide receiver between teammates Brown and D.K. Metcalf.  While Metcalf is the bigger target, the Packers select the more productive Brown (83 catches for 1320 yards); adding to the arsenal new head coach Matt LaFleur is putting around QB Aaron Rodgers.

Pick #31 Los Angeles Rams

TE Noah Fant, Iowa

With his teammate already off the board, Fant makes the second Hawkeye tight end selected in the first round.  The Rams were lacking a presence in the middle of the field and red zone last season.  The 6’5″ Fant brings 19 career TDs to the potent Rams offense.

Pick #32 New England Patriots

DT Jerry Tillery, Notre Dame

At 6’7″ and 305 lbs, Tillery is the type of kind of versatile DT/NT that New England has always coveted.
