Nick Foles – If you want to believe some of the mainstream media, then the Dolphins are one of the top landing spots for the Eagles former Super Bowl MVP. His price tag of about $17 million per year shouldn’t throw you off. O.k. if you believe this then I can’t help you. The Dolphins are re-building and Foles would be an expensive piece that would make no sense.

Case Keenum – There has been some talk that Keenum, if and when he is released by the Broncos could draw interest from the Dolphins. He may not be as expensive as some think given the money he will still draw from Denver who traded for Joe Flacco. Realistically however, Keenum is going to want a more stable situation. This year that may be hard to find on any team.

Jacoby Brissett – Brissett is being linked to the Dolphins because of his time with the Patriots under the myriad of poached coaches by Brian Flores, including Chad O’Shea. There is two problems with this. One, he isn’t a free agent and two, the Dolphins would need to trade for him. Currently on the Colts’ roster backing up Andrew Luck, the Dolphins are not likely going to trade draft picks for a QB who will not likely start a year or two from now.

Teddy Bridgewater – Bridewater’s name continues to intrigue those around the NFL. He has all the tools to be a very good QB in the league but his injury history is such that teams are skeptical about him losing some of his game as a result of the knee injury. Bridgewater is a big unknown but if the price was right and given a chance to compete, Bridgewater could go to Miami where he could start for a year and try to rebuild his name around the league. Maybe on a one or two-year team friendly deal.

Tyrod Taylor – There is growing speculation that Taylor could land with the Dolphins this off-season. He is not going to generate a lot of interest when the market opens and in Miami he would likely be the day one starter which would allow him to market himself for another year as a starter. The reality is that at this point in his career, he is auditioning for spot play and back-up duties.

Josh McCown – Probably better to stick with Fales and Falk.

Trevor Siemian – See above then hit the next slide.
