Kiko Alonso

Alonso’s days in Miami are numbered as the team moves forward with a new scheme and defensive blueprint. This year Alonso will stick around and Brian Flores and Patrick Graham will have time to evaluate him and see if they believe, along with Chris Grier, that Alonso is worth the $8.1 million he is scheduled to make in 2020.

Miami would recoup almost all of Alonso’s contract in 2020 carrying only $1.7 million in dead money while saving $6.4 million.
