1. Arizona Cardinals – Kyler Murray, QB (Oklahoma)

Since weighing in at the NFL Combine, Murray has become the consensus number one pick. What that means for Josh Rosen remains to be seen, but it appears that Kliff Kingsbury is going to get his way with the number one overall selection.

2. San Francisco 49ers – Nick Bosa, EDGE (Ohio State)

The 49ers would absolutely love it if the Cardinals drafted Murray as it would allow them to take the best pass rusher in the draft. Pairing Bosa with Dee Ford, who the 49ers acquired in a trade last week, would give San Francisco a terrific duo of edge defenders.

3. New York Jets – Josh Allen, EDGE (Kentucky)

You can blame Anthony Barr for this selection. By him spurning the Jets to return to Minnesota, New York is still in need of a pass rusher. While I would not be surprised to see them take Quinnen Williams, who I believe to be the better player, I think Allen fits more of a need.

4. Oakland Raiders – Quinnen Williams, DT (Alabama)

The entire Raiders’ organization gives the Jon Gruden smile as they see the Jets pass on Williams. Oakland gets, arguably, the best player in the draft with great value at pick 4.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Devin White, LB (LSU)

The Bucs could go in a number of different directions with the 5th pick, but they really need to improve their defense. They just lost Kwon Alexander in free agency, and there are not a lot of quality inside linebackers in this draft class. White is one of the two with a first-round grade, and he instantly fills a need.
