6. New York Giants – Rashan Gary, EDGE (Michigan)

The New York fanbase will be clamoring for the Giants to take Dwayne Haskins here, but it’s simply not the Dave Gettleman way. No one quite knows what the Gettleman way is exactly, but if we are to believe what we’ve heard then we know that it doesn’t include Haskins.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars – Jawaan Taylor, OT (Florida)

The Jaguars have missed on several occasions in the draft for a quarterback. This time, they went out and bought their guy in Nick Foles. Now, it’s time to get him some protection by investing in, arguably, the best offensive tackle of the class.

8. Detroit Lions – Montez Sweat, EDGE (Mississippi State)

This pick hinges on the health of Sweat. It has been reported over the last few days that a heart issue has been detected for Sweat. The issue is being labeled as low-risk, and at this time is not expected to alter his draft stock. Should that stay true, Sweat is the Lions guy, and a great addition to pair with Trey Flowers.

9. Buffalo Bills – Jonah Williams, OT (Alabama)

Originally, it looked as if the Bills could be the potential landing spot for D.K. Metcalf after Antonio Brown‘s Buffalo career lasted less than a full night’s sleep. That seems less likely now that the Bills have gone out and signed John Brown and Cole Beasley in free agency. Metcalf could still be the big body that Buffalo needs, but shoring up some protection for Josh Allen makes more sense.

10. Denver Broncos – Drew Lock, QB (Missouri)

The Broncos are faced here with their choice of Haskins or Lock. While most of the nation would agree that Haskins is the better option, something tells me that John Elway feels differently. Elway has expressed his love for Lock in the past. Grabbing him now to develop under Joe Flacco might be the best option in Elway’s mind.
