Miami Dolphins fans wanting Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins may be disappointed if current speculation is correct.

There is growing speculation in NFL circles that Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins may be off the board at number six overall to the New York Giants. If that is true, some Dolphins fans will be disappointed but it is better than seeing Haskins on the board at 13 and Miami passing on him.

Matt Miller of BleacherReport recently talked about the rumors he has been hearing and it seems that the Giants could be all in on the QB.

"Multiple sources in other front offices have remarked that Haskins has “always” been the guy for the Giants. – Matt Miller"

This year is so odd for quarterbacks. Fans and many in the media can not agree on who will be the best if any of them will be. typically there is one quarterback that stands out as the top. This year that top QB is Kyler Murray but it is not because of his talent, it’s about the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.

Murray has talent but there are detractors that point to the lack of leadership qualities he does not possess and some question his locker room leadership as well.

Drew Lock could be the 2nd QB taken and may have the best arm and most experience of the top four but his decision-making ability leaves questions. Is he the next Brett Favre of the next Jay Cutler?

Daniel Jones has some thinking that he will develop to be an Eli Manning type, they have shared the same coach in college but Jones is erratic and inconsistent.

Perhaps the one player that gets a lot of mention as being one of the best in this class is Will Grier of West Virginia but Grier is pegged as a 2nd to 3rd round prospect.

As for Haskins, it will be interesting to see where he lands. If the Giants are serious about him they would have no problem using a 6th overall pick on him. If they want to risk it, they can always trade back up using the 17th overall pick.
