Ryan Fitzpatrick

The Dolphins are rolling with the veteran of 15 years over the veteran of one year. They spent a 2nd round pick and a 2020 5th round pick to get Josh Rosen but it will be Fitzpatrick that takes the reigns today. If the Dolphins offensive line doesn’t do even a little of their job we could see Rosen sooner that later because Fitzpatrick is going to get killed.

Fitzpatrick needs to play smart football. He is the type of quarterback that post a four touchdown game one week and a four interception game the next. He is erradic and inconsistent and has been over his career but the players respect him. Is that enough?

Through pre-season, Fitzpatrick was mostly inconsistent. His throws were off the mark and he looked as though he was entering his 15th season. The Dolphins need him to manage the offense and the game. Tomorrow’s headlines could read Fitzpatrick leads Dolphins to a victory or it could just as easily read Fitzpatrick fails to deliver points in Dolphins opener.
