Reshad Jones

Putting Jones in the 4th spot is fitting but it is also hard. Drafted in 2010, Jones is the only Miami Dolphins player to play the entire decade with the team. Sorry, John Denney. In his ten seasons, he has two Pro Bowl appearances and honestly should have had more.

Jones, however, hasn’t been without his share of controversy. He pulled himself from a second week game against the Jets due to a disagreement with a defensive coach. Basically quitting on his team. It is a black mark on an otherwise great talent.

Jones may be playing his final year with the Dolphins. Injuries have taken their toll and only played four games this season, his lowest since the 2016 season when he played in only six.

In his career, Jones has four interceptions returned for touchdowns. He has three forced fumbles, seven recoveries, 10.5 sacks, 766 combined tackles, and 21 interceptions.

When healthy, Jones’ play from the safety spot greatly improved the Dolphins defense from the front line to the deep secondary.
