ORCHARD PARK, NY – DECEMBER 17: Jarvis Landry /

Jarvis Landry, 2014 NFL Draft, Round 2, Pick 63. Career Stats (with Miami): 400 REC, 4038 YDS, 22 TDs, 3 Pro Bowls

Jarvis Landry’s style of play and charisma made him an immediate fan favorite for the Dolphins. He was tough, gritty and could catch any ball thrown his way. He seemed to make every tough catch usually followed up by his patented “first down” gesture. He was slowly becoming a player that people rallied behind and the face of the franchise.

It seems that money always ruins everything.

While money wasn’t the only reason that Landry was traded to the Browns in 2018, it was a big reason for it. Miami’s front office didn’t want to pay the amount Landry was looking for as his numbers never added up to a top wide receiver deal.

Landry’s time in Miami was exactly what to expect from a second-round pick. Had he stayed in Miami and had competent coaching while he was here, he could have been even more productive and actually worth the money he ended up getting from the Browns.
