Round 2 – (35 overall)Yetur Gross-Matos, EDGE, Penn State – The Dolphins go back to the defensive side of the ball and get their edge rusher.  Gross-Matos fits the mold that Flores likes. He’s long and lean and uses his long arms to gain separation from blockers. Gross-Matos is 6’5” and 264 pounds.  His build is very similar to another #99 who suited up for the Dolphins. Gross-Matos is also a high character guy. (Alternate Pick – Yetur Gross-Matos, EDGE, Penn State)

Round 2 – (62 overall) – Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia – After passing on Tua Tagovailoa in the first round the Dolphins grab their quarterback in the second.  Fromm threw for just under 8000 yds in his 3 years at Georgia. He also threw for 76 TDS versus 18 interceptions. Fromm will look to learn for a year as the back-up to Ryan Fitzpatrick in the 2020 season and be ready to take over the team in 2021.  (Alternate Pick – Ben Bredeson, G, Michigan)
