2015 – The Dolphins organization would once again see a coaching change in 2015.  Cam Cameron was done after a 1 and 3 start to the season. Player and fan-favorite Dan Campbell replaced Philbin.  The season never got back on track. Miami finished the year at 6 and 10. Tannehill once again had a Tannehill type year.  Not awful, not spectacular. He finished with 4208 yds with 24 tds and 12 ints. 2015 saw a decline on both sides of the ball.  The offense finished near the bottom of the league, ranking 27th overall in scoring while the defense finished 19th overall. Despite the down year the Dolphins were well represented at the Pro Bowl.  The offensive side of the ball sent Mike Pouncey and Javis Landry while the defense also sent two players as DB’s Reshad Jone and Brent Grimes were also selected.

2016 – Adam Gase, the quarterback whisperer, came to Miami as the coach to turn the franchise around.  After his first year, it looked like that might just be the case. The Dolphins finished the year with 10 wins and 6 losses and ended their playoff drought.  Unfortunately, it was short-lived. The Phins got blown out 30 to 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It looked like things might be falling in place as Miami sent two skill players to the pro bowl.  Running back Jay Ajayi rushed for over 1200 yds and made his first trip to the pro bowl joining Jarvis Landry making his second trip. The Defense also had two pro bowlers with Cameron Wake making yet another appearance while being joined by Ndamukong Suh.  Miami fans while disappointed with the way the season ended were encouraged about the future.

2017 – Unfortunately this season saw the Dolphins enter the season without their starting quarterback.  Tannehill re-injured his knee and was put on the shelf for the season. Miami talked Jay Cutler out of retirement and hoped he and Coach Gase could take advantage of their history together.  The Dolphins were once again sitting at .500 after 8 games and once again limped their way to a 2 and 6 record in the second half of the season to finish at 6 and 10 once again. All of the goodwill Gase earned in year 1 was quickly used up.  The Phins finished the season near the bottom of both offensive and defensive scoring, 28th and 29th respectively. Jarvis Landry and Reshad Jones returned to the Pro Bowl as Dolphins representative.
