5th overall – Miami Dolphins- Jeff Okudah -CB – Ohio State

To be honest, I want the Dolphins to get AJ here, but I don’t see him getting this far down. I think if the Lions pass on him, the Giants will take him next.  With that in mind, the Dolphins are excited to finally pair X. Howard with another true shutdown corner. If you watch the game against Clemson, you can see a true shut down corner.  I don’t know what will happen with X. Howard based on his latest arrest, but the Dolphins will select a corner in this draft, why not select the best one.

6th overall – Los Angles Chargers – Justin Herbert QB – Oregon

Rivers is getting old and I think the fan base is tired of him throwing interceptions.  The Chargers need a new face of the franchise and Herbert, a West Coast Kid, can definitely look the part.  I wouldn’t waste a first-rounder on him, but I am not a GM.

7th overall – Carolina Panther- Jerry Jeudy – WR Alabama

Similar to the Giants not sure who will coach the Panther this upcoming season, but one thing they do need is a legit number 1 wide receiver.  If Cam does come back or if they look to Kyle Allen, one thing they need to do is surround talent around Christian McCaffrey. Jeudy is reminding everyone of Jerry Rice.

8th overall – Arizona Cardinals – Andrew Thomas – OL – Georgia

Kyler Murray had a solid rookie season, but he was running for his life 95% of the time.  The Cardinals need to protect their franchise quarterback and getting Andrew Thomas here is a match made in heaven.

9th overall – Jacksonville Jaguars – Tua Tagovailoa – QB – Alabama

The decision will be official on Monday, but if Tua does declare for the NFL draft, a franchise that is needing some hope to rebuild their image, there would be some hope here.  Look the Jags gave Nick Foles a ton of guaranteed money this past offseason. Foles can still run the team for another year and in 2021, after redshirting Tua, he can have a chance to start.

10th overall – Cleveland Browns – Tristan Wirfs – OL – Iowa

Another top ten team without a head coach.  Based on the game plan of the Browns this past season, we saw Mayfield running for his life.  The Browns need to address their Oline and Wirfs is a player that can start at either tackle position.
