AFC East

Patriots – Tom Brady is the QB for now. The impending free agent could shake-up everything this off-season if he leaves. If the Patriots lose him, they will trade up in the draft to get a QB and be players in the free-agent market.

Bills – Josh Allen is set

Jets – Sam Darnold

Dolphins – Fitzpatrick, Josh Rosen, and most likely a top-five draft pick spent on one. Miami is not likely going to hit the free-agent market for one.

AFC North

Browns – Baker Mayfield

Bengals – Andy Dalton is likely gone and no one is going to be looking to him to recharge their franchise. If he leaves, he is a back-up. The Bengals have the top pick in the draft and can do whatever they want. Don’t rule out a QB in free agency either. They may double down and Ryan Tannehill could be an option given his relationship with HC Zac Taylor.

Steelers – Roethlisberger will return next year but the Steelers need to think beyond 2020 so I expect them to draft a quarterback in the 2nd round if they don’t trade back into the first.

AFC South

Colts – Jacoby Brissett is good but he isn’t a franchise QB. The Colts could go after Teddy Bridgewater and draft a QB as well. Jim Irsay isn’t afraid to make big moves.

Texans – Set with Deshaun Watson

Jaguars – Nick Foles has a big contract and the Jaguar fans love Gardner Minshew but neither maybe long-term answers beyond 2020.

Titans – The Titans have to decide if the draft or free agency is where they go to find a quarterback. Ryan Tannehill and Marcus Mariota are both impending FA’s. The question is whether or not they believe Ryan Tannehill is more than a one-year wonder for them.

AFC West

Chargers – Rivers is likely gone and there are a lot of rumors that they may go hard after Tom Brady. Either way, the Chargers are going to be big players in the draft if they don’t land a top free agent.

Raiders – Nothing is certain with the Raiders. Free agency could provide the replacement for Derek Carr who is on the bubble. Jon Gruden does things that most wouldn’t expect. They are rumored to have interest in Brady but this could be a serious landing spot for Bridgewater.

Chiefs – The Super Bowl-bound Chiefs have one of the youngest and brightest QBs in the league.

Broncos – The Broncos are going to ride a couple of years with Drew Lock.
