Deserts!

Nothing is complete without desserts and there are so many to choose from if you can find the ingredients.

Key Lime Pie

Every grocery store sells frozen key-lime pies and they are easy to slice up into small triangles. You can also make your own or make individual tarts. Honestly, everyone who likes key-lime pie has their favorite recipe or company that makes them. Experiment a bit if you want to make your own. If not, get them from your local grocery!

Churros

The sticky cinnamon sticks are a great dessert for your party!  You can stack them in a bowl, like straws with a creamy whipped cream or cake frosting in the center to dip them into. They go great with  Cafecito although a big sugar overload!

Tropical fruit

Want to make it really easy? Do away with the traditionally sweet deserts and get fruity. A variety of tropical fruits laid out on a serving platter looks great and tastes great! For a twist, add some finely shredded basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic for an extra kick. Mediterranean influences exist in the Caribbean so tossing some feta cheese in with the salad will give it some great dimensions!
