Miami Dolphins could look for other veteran QB help for 2020
By Brian Miller
Teddy Bridgewater – 27 years old
Personally, I think Drew Brees retires and the QB job in New Orleans is given to Bridgewater but if Brees stays, Bridgewater could opt to hit the market rather than sign a deal to sit behind the HOF starter for another season.
Bridgewater looked really good last year when he took over for Brees after he was injured. He showed no signs of the injury that knocked him out of Minnesota. Bridgewater is going to be a big free-agent target for a lot of teams including the Panthers and Chargers but it all depends on whether he re-signs with the Saints.
The Dolphins were rumored to have interest in him last off-season and the off-season before so could 2020 be the year? If so, the Dolphins will have a QB that they believe would be their franchise QB for the next five to ten years and that too would mean no QB in round one of the draft.
