Round 3 – (70 overall) – Jonah Jackson, OG, Ohio State – The blueprint becomes even more obvious with this pick.  The rebuild of the offensive line continues as the Dolphins add the 6’4” 305 guard. Jackson played his first four college seasons (1 redshirt) with the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers.  Jackson transferred to Ohio State in the summer of 2019. Jackson won the starting LG spot and earned 1st team All Big 10 honors as well as being a 3rd team AP All American. Jackson is another interior lineman who has the flexibility to play both guard and center.  Jackson’s strength is in the run game. (Mock 2.0 – Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia)

Round 4 – (142 overall) – Levonta Taylor, CB, Florida State – Taylor will come into the NFL with the label of “undersized.” hence why is available in the 4th round.   At 5’10” and 190 pounds he certainly is that, but his skills make up for his lack of size. From a technique standpoint scouts say he is “very advanced”. Taylor has the ability to neutralize receivers, even those bigger than him.  Taylor is described as a prototypical NFL nickel corner. According to Pro Football Focus, Taylor allowed the fewest amount of receptions per coverage snap in the nation. Of the 398 coverage snaps played, Taylor allowed only 13 catches on 35 targets.  This equates to a passer rating of 26.1. (Mock 2.0 – Dane Jackson, CB, Pittsburgh).
