Offensive Line: Both

No other position on the Miami Dolphins needs to be addressed more than the offensive line. From center to guard to tackle on both sides, the Dolphins line has to get better if this team is going to ever succeed in the NFL.

Over the last decade, the Dolphins have tried to piece together a line with castoffs from other teams. Late in their career veterans who were no more than depth players being asked to start. That has to change and the Dolphins have the resources to change it for good this off-season.

The approach needs to come from both the draft and from free agency. It doesn’t really matter what position is addressed where but the Dolphins should look for one tackle in free agency and one in the draft. At guard, free agency would be the better option for a starter with depth coming in the draft. Last year, the addition of Michael Dieter hopefully will continue to show development and that will lock down one of the two guard spots.

Center is a question mark and some of that will depend on whether or not the Dolphins keep Daniel Kilgore whose salary is mostly not guaranteed. The draft will help if Miami wants to go that route or they could look to free agency but the market for a center is not great this year.
