Linebackers: Both

Kyle Van Noy is a top target for the Dolphins this year. Or so it is speculated. Brian Flores knows him very well and the Dolphins have the money to make it happen. Van Noy is versatile and knows the system that Miami is running. He has the veteran leadership to take over the defense and will pair well with Vince Biegel.

The Dolphins need to upgrade their linebacker group who also slide into the edge spot to pass rush. The Draft will offer plenty of players to fill those roles but Miami has to get better. They only have a need for one or two players at the most but those players need to be very good. With so many other needs on the roster, if Miami opts to go the free-agent route, they can wait until the mid-rounds to add another for more depth.

Miami has youth at the position. Jerome Baker is the veteran leader but Biegel has done well as did Sam Eguavoen and Andrew Van Ginkel has a lot of potential. Linebackers have to be versatile in the Flores defense.
