Shane Lemieux – The Oregon Ducks senior participated in the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine and did a reputable job. Posting a 5.11 40 yard dash, a 25.5″ vertical and a 107″ broad jump. Lemieux is intelligent and a tough trench mauler. He brings a lot of experience with him and can perform in just about any run scheme. Lemieux had been a starting left guard for all four seasons at Oregon,  and he should be able to settle in nicely at a natural guard spot.

Lemieux does great with double teams and combination blocking, but some experts think he might need a little work with his pass protection blocking, but he did a solid job in Eugene for the Oregon Ducks. He possesses high football IQ and seems to understand twists and stunts well, which was a problem the last few seasons for the Miami Dolphins offensive line.

Senior Draft Analyst Kyle Crabbs, from the draft network,

"“Functional strength in the upper half and in drive block situations will win against almost all comers. Like his effort in pass protection to search for work and pick up some slabs along the way. He’s a bit of a mauler in the run game and can be feisty at the whistle”."

Lemieux has played against top-level opponents in the PAC-12 for a long time and that has helped him understand a multitude of looks and techniques, and possesses leadership qualities that head coach Brian Flores seems to covet.

Lemieux should be available late in rounds 2 or 3, or just might even fall a little beyond that projection. The Miami Dolphins could look to add him for depth and with a little patience and development, maybe he will turn into a solid starter for the team while bringing some toughness down the road.
