2nd round – 39th overall – Grant Delpit – S, LSU

Reshad Jones will be cut.  I really wanted to get Xavier Mckinney, but I think he will go in the first round.  Delpit is an amazing backup plan. The Dolphins lack a true free safety since Brock Marion.   They have tried and failed so many times, and finally, get it right with Delpit.

2nd round – 56th overall – Jonathan Taylor – RB, Wisconsin

Similar to Simmons, Taylor was the best running back at the combine.  I still think that Swift will go before him (KC looks tempting) but any player that has back to back 2K season, you have to really consider.  Taylor can be the next Ricky Williams and has the build to carry that load.

3rd round – 70th overall – Tyler Biadasz – C, Wisconsin

How the cards will fall, no one will know, but can you imagine if Tyler is available in the 3rd round right after drafting Taylor? Match made in heaven for the Dolphins.  Tyler replaces Daniel Kilgore and automatically brings more credibility to the Dolphins offensive line.
