4th rounder – 142 overall – compensatory pick – Lamar Jackson, CB Nebraska

The Dolphins secondary played ok last season.  Nik Needham was impressive, but is he truly an every-down corner, or is he best suited for a dime cover? Finding a starter in the 4th round is hard, but Lamar Jackson looks like an amazing prospect that could press Nik for his starting position.

5th round – 163 overall – Alton Robinson – DE, Syracuse

Adding depth to a position of need is key.  Robinson surprised a lot of people, posting the 3rd fastest 40 time.  He’s quick on his feet and moves well. His swim move is his patented move but needs to work on others.

5th rounder – 166 overall – Shaquille Quarterman – LB, Miami

I like this kid.  He’s raw and could make his mark as a special team player to start. However, he might turn heads at training camp.
