6th rounder – 186 overall – Shane Lemieux – G, Oregon

I am hoping the Dolphins will use free agency to get a starting right tackle (Conklin) and starting guard (Thuney), drafting Jones and Biadasz, leaves everyone else battling for the guard position.  I like Lemieux’s mentality, he plays angry.

6th rounder – 198 overall – RB JaMycal Hasty, Baylor

The Dolphins need running backs.  I like Hasty as a change of pace back to Taylor, and more importantly a 3rd down back in passing downs.

7th rounder – 247 overall – OL – Calvin Throckmorton, Oregon

Depth.  Calvin was once thought of as a 2nd round pick, let see if the Dolphins coaching staff can get the best out of him.

7th rounder – 251 overall – compensatory -S Damar Hamlin, Pittsburgh

Added Depth and special teams

There you have it.  Dolphins have focused this draft on building their trenches and solidifying both their defensive and offensive lines.  Basically, you can say, they have presented an opportunity for a quarterback to come in 2021 to succeed and not be running for their lives – it’s that the point of a rebuild?
