Quarterback. Miami Dolphins. Tua Tagovailoa. 5. player. 59.

The Miami Dolphins need a quarterback and while many expect the Dolphins to try and trade up, there is growing speculation that the team may just find it easier to stay put and let him fall to them.

The Chargers pose a real threat to Tagovailoa if they want him. Picking in the sixth spot, one behind Miami, the Chargers could move up to number three. Honestly, I’m not a Tagovailoa fan and would rather have Justin Herbert. In this mock draft, both quarterbacks were available at pick five. I selected Tagovailoa because I think this is the direction that the Dolphins will ultimately go if he is indeed on the board.

Drafting a quarterback at number five is not a given either. Miami could look to bolster the offensive line with this pick and everyone was available when the Dolphins were on the clock.

Tagovailoa obviously fills a big need for the team but the concerns about his health are not something that is simply being thrown out there. His durability is real and should be a real concern for any team that wants to draft him.
