Round 1 (5th overall) Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama – The Dolphins get their guy without having to trade up.  Tua has been cleared for football activities.  Looking at some of the videos released, Tua’s footwork looks great. Due to everything that’s going on it looks like the Dolphins’ doctors will not be able to see Tua in person prior to the draft. That may be a good thing for the Dolphins as it’ll probably make it much more unlikely that a team will want to invest multiple picks to trade up and jump Miami in order to draft Tua (Mock 3.0 – Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama)

Round 1 – (18 overall) – Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville – The Dolphins get one of the four top offensive tackles in the draft.  Becton is a large man standing 6’7” tall and weighing 369 pounds. Becton is said to have nimble feet for a man his size. He also comes with a 7 foot wingspan which is a big advantage for an offensive tackle.  Becton would become a day one starter on what will be a totally revamped offensive line. Round 1 – (26 overall) – K’Lavon Chaisson, OLB, LSU – Coach Flores and the Dolphins get another weapon for the defensive side of the ball. Chaisson is an extremely explosive edge rusher and is also very good at setting the edge against the run. Add Chaisson to a unit that already has Baker, McMillian, Van Noy, Van Ginkel and Biegel provides Miami with an abundance of position flexibility and a very good defensive front seven.
