Miami Dolphins three-round mock draft focuses on getting better

Round 3, Pick 70: DE Bradlee Anae
With Miami’s final pick in the first three rounds, I chose to bolster the pass rush a bit. Miami went out and spent on some pass rushers in free agency (Shaq Lawson and Emmanuel Ogbah) but I firmly believe that you can never have enough. Miami also struggled mightily in this department last season so bolstering the pass rush quite literally can’t hurt this team.
Anae’s biggest criticism is his strength. According to Pro Football Network, he needs to work on this to be more successful at the next level. For me, however, strength is not something I’d be overly concerned with, especially with the workout regiment’s NFL teams put their rookies through starting on day one.
Anae could easily be a quality rotational player for the Dolphins and could help make the Miami defense one to be feared in the AFC East.
Wrap Up
The board fell in what I consider to be a best-case scenario. Miami was able to draft its quarterback of the future without compromising its first few first-round picks. Within the first 3 rounds, the Dolphins were able to address the majority of their needs going into the 2020 season.
Of course, all of this is speculation and, as everyone knows, draft night is always chaotic and unexpected. That being said, if Miami ends up with these players on draft night, I, for one, would be ecstatic.
