WEEK NINE – @ Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals began to rebuild their roster a year ago and they are still trending upwards but they are not quite there just yet. Kyler Murray is another versatile quarterback who can win with his legs but if the Dolphins can contain him and make his stay in the pocket, his accuracy isn’t that good when under pressure.

Defensively the Cardinals are getting better but there are holes that Miami can expose. Pounding the ball with Jordan Howard will help take the pressure off Ryan Fitzpatrick or Josh Rosen depending on who is starting. If by chance Tagovailoa is playing, it will have an element of intrigue but Tua is still an unknown given he has not yet played a single NFL snap.

Miami should be in the thick of the second-half season playoff talk but it is way too premature to say Miami is trending as a team that can find a way in. There are tough games ahead so this game is one that Miami needs to steal.

PREDICTION: While Kyler Murray’s growth should be significant this year, he is still learning and the Dolphins defense under Flores should be good at this point in 2020.
