Predicting the Miami Dolphins 2020 season game by game
By Brian Miller
WEEK 13 – Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are coming to Miami along with the top pick in the NFL Draft, Joe Burrow. Will this be a Burrow vs. Tua Tagovailoa game? It is possible but I still believe that the Dolphins will keep Tagovailoa on the sidelines this year and are more apt to try and promote Josh Rosen to the rest of the NFL. At least they should be.
Burrow is a very good quarterback and there shouldn’t be too much struggle to transition to this level. The problem that Burrow is going to have to deal with is he has very little quality supporting cast members. A.J. Green is elite and that should be fun to watch but the rest of the Bengals offense is average.
Defensively the Bengals took a hit as well. Last year the Dolphins were able to beat the Bengals 38 to 35 but I don’t expect the Bengals to put that many points on the board. Miami has done a lot of research on Burrow as they reportedly tried to trade up for him. They are going to know his strengths and weaknesses. Brian Flores should give him trouble with his schemes.
PREDICTION: Miami is the better team on paper and the Bengals are going to struggle all season, not as much as they did last year but it isn’t looking like a pretty season in Cincinnati.
